Return to index3 - INSTALLATION C) PRODUCTION MODIFICATIONSThe manufacturer reserves the right to alter the products it manufactures and/or sells without prior notice and
with no obligation to update products already manufactured or sold.D) WARRANTY PERIODThe warranty period starts from the date of delivery to the first owner/user. The delivery date must be recorded
on the warranty certificate, which must be completed with all the required information. The warranty certificate
must bear the stamp of the authorized service centre that carried out the first free inspection (see point E). Theduration of the warranty is the minimum duration foreseen by the respective laws. In countries in which a
specific law does not exist or in which the law does not enforce shorter periods, the duration of the warranty is
twelve (12) months. All parts or components replaced or repaired will benefit from the residual warranty period,
calculated from the date the original part or component was delivered.E) FIRST SERVICING BY THE AUTHORIZED SERVICE CENTREBefore leaving the factory, all products are carefully tested to ensure they meet Frigoboat quality standards andspecifications. As the manufacturer cannot control how the product is installed, for the warranty to be valid it is
necessary that the system be inspected by an authorized service centre within one month of delivery to the
owner/user. The inspection is free of charge if carried out at the authorized service centre during normal
working hours.F) WHAT THE WARRANTY COVERSThe warranty
sailboat covers the cost of replacing or repairing defective parts, or replacing them with equivalent parts,
according to convenience. A part or product is considered defective, and therefore covered by this warranty,
when it has a pre-existing defect present at the time of delivery. All repairs covered by the warranty must be
carried out by a Frigoboat authorized service centre during normal working hours. The labour required for
repairs is provided free of charge by the authorized service centres. Hours of service are calculated according
to an average installation that has taken the possibility of servicing into consideration. Times exceeding
authorized times will be charged to the customer.G) WHAT THE WARRANTY DOES NOT COVERThis warranty does not cover parts or products damaged during transport, installation or repairs, or caused by
abnormal use, overloading, negligence, normal wear and tear, use of non-original spare parts or all other
improper use, or accident or negligence in following the instructions in the manual of use and maintenance or
installation instructions. Moreover, the warranty is invalid if the user uses the product in an irresponsible manner
or if modifications have been made which, in the opinion of the manufacturer, may have caused or aggravated
the damage, or if any seals have been removed, regulations modified, or if the part or product has been used in
violation of the law for an unauthorized purpose. The warranty does not cover accidental, consequential or
associated expenses (such as customs duties, transport charges, travel expenses, extraordinary expenses dueto
difficult accessibility of the installed product, loss of use, loss of income, loss of time, loss of property, injury or
damage to other parts or goods that are not Frigoboat products. The manufacturer does not authorize third
