Please read the following chapters carefully, regardless of whether the system has already been installed or is about to be installed in your boat boat. This document explains how your cooler works, how to ensure it runs smoothly and how you can solve minor problems. 1.2 - WARNING Your 2000 TWIN Series cooler has been designed and manufactured according to stringent securityregulations. However, please observe the following rules:A) the coolant used in the 2000 TWIN series cooler is R134a, which is safe and approved by the MontrealProtocol. It is not toxic, flammable or explosive, nor is it oxygenised. If there is a significant gas leak (the unit can contain approximately one kilogram), the coolant will settle on the floor of the room, as it is heavier than air. In a small peak the coolant may expel air. It is odourless and invisible, and may cause respiratory difficulties. In the event of significant leaks, we recommend that you ventilate the room where the coolant may collect.B) If coolant leaks, extinguish all flames (including cigarettes). R134a coolant may generate toxic gases when itcomes into contact with naked flames.C) All coolant gases can reach temperatures as low as –30°C when escaping from a pressurized tank. They will help you get the best performance from your Frigoboat. Before starting your unit for the first time, please read the instruction manual carefully. If you would like a manual in another language, please ask your dealer or local importer. The warranty certificate must be filled in by the vendor and authorized service centre (see point E), and it must bepresented when requesting repairs covered by the warranty. It is in the interest of the owner/user that all repairs made be noted on the back of the warranty certificate, both during and after the warranty period.A) INTRODUCTIONThe manufacturer guarantees that the product specified in the attached warranty certificate is free of defects of material and workmanship, according to the terms and limitations specified hereunder. This warranty is not valid in countries in which the subject is regulated by the appropriate laws.B) WARRANTY ABROADThe terms of the Frigoboat International Warranty are also valid in countries in which a ‘FRIGOBOAT’ distributor exists.
