2 - OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS 1 - USE INSTRUCTIONS1.1 - FUNCTIONING OF THE COMPACT& SPLITQUATTRO AIR-CONDITIONERSDuring the cooling cycle the refrigerating circuit takes the heat away from the ambient air and
makes it over to the sea water. On the contrary, in the boat heating cycle an electrical resistance, con-
trolled by the ambient thermostat, generates the heat (EH version with electrical heating).
There is also a second version of the COMPACT& SPLITQUATTRO air-conditioners with inver-
sion cycle instead of the electrical heating. For the RC models with reversal cycle the heat is taken
away from the sea water, that cools down and made over to the air, that warms up. The heat pump
(heating) is the best solution if the sea water temperature is above 10° C. You can select the func-
tioning cycle, the desired temperature and the fan speed by means of the control panel for boats, installed
in the air-conditioned room and controlling the ambient temperature (only the mechanical panel has
