| Simple to install, reliable and easily accessible for maintenance, Van der Velden COMMANDER™ steering gear is the product of advanced engineering at its best. All components of this robust and compact double ram unit are supplied in an operational condition. The steering gear is completely connected to a single junction box delivered as part of the unit. Mounted on a single adjustable foundation plate, the unit can be installed at the shipyard with a minimum of effort. The aim of the technical design is to achieve minimum wear and reduction in heat and noise effects. A large variety of control/operation and indicator options are available and the steering gear can be combined with all well-known types of automation equipment. | ||
