Ever since the first vacuum was invented in 1901 manufacturers have all faced the same problem; how to get consistent ‘new out of the box’ suction on the job day after day. As the vacuum is used, the filters re- move and trap dust particles from the air flowing through the vacuum. However as the filters block up with dust the air can’t move freely and the suction power of the vacuum drops off. Hilton has found an innovative way to overcome this problem. The ‘Dust Eater’ uses a tuned cyclonic ac- tion to channel the dirty air away from the filters and centripetal force to ‘spin out’ the heavy dust and larger particles as they are sucked up.
