he Sea Vision SV 16 model utilizes a durable off road halogen lamp with 12 or 24 volt DC power and can be installed in the transom or the hull. Generally it should be installed in smaller boats and for the occasional light user. The vessel must be hauled out for installation although lamp change and any maintenance can be done in the water from within the hull. Installation: This light should be installed at least 125-150mm (5-6”) below the water line by qualified/approved personnel using proper tools and materials. The minimum hull thickness is 10mm (0.4”) and maximum is 70mm (2.75”) with an access area of at least 100mm (3.9”) left behind the light for lamp servicing and general ventilation. After selecting a flat surface, cut a 60mm (2-3/8”) diameter hole through the vessel hull in the desired location. Caution!
