M/V "OLYMPIC INTERVENTION IV" is built, equipped, and painted (tanks and exterior) In drydock inside covered dockhall, thus ensur­ing controllable atmosphere and the best quality of work.
A Green Passport complying with IMO ship recycling recommendations is issued.
M/V "OLYMPIC INTERVENTION IV" is a
ROV and Offshore Construction Vessel with capacities as a Platform Supply Vessel. The vessel is designed by Ulstein Design AS. The vessel is equipped with a diesel electric power plant, azimuth main thrusters, and IMO Class II DP plant, ensuring the vessel to obtain the best sea keeping perform­ances and station keeping capabilities in DP manoeuvering. M/V "Olympic Intervention IV" is equipped with a 150 t Offshore crane, a hangar for two work ROV's, and a large moonpool, in order to undertake advanced offshore operations. The vessel is built for world wide operation.
Main Activities
• 150 t SWL Offshore Crane for handling of construction blocks over PS ship side
• Two Work ROV's LARS 4000 metres for Sub Sea operations
• Two demountable sections of PS cargo rail, each 8.5 m length, for crane operations
• ROV Hangar arranged for deployment of Work ROV to both sides
• Reserved area for trencher spread aft of ROV hangar starboard side, with dismount-able section for cargo rail SB side,
length 14 m
• Large moonpool (net 7.2m x 7.2m) prepared for optional module handling tower
