The vessel is equipped with a diesel electric power plant serving two main azimuth thrusters, two retractable thrusters and two side thrusters. The vessel is equipped, built and certified according to IMO Class III for Dynamic Positioning, ensuring the vessel to obtain the best sea keeping and station keeping capabilities in DP manoeuvering. MAIN ACTIVITIES • Well Intervention Services with Sub-sea Lubricator System (LWI) • Sub-sea Construction and Equipment Installation (OCV) • Inspection, Maintenance and Repair (IMR) • ROV Services M/V ”ISLAND CONSTRUCTOR” is an environmental friendly ship in all respects. The ship is certified by Det Norske Veritas according to the latest rules for class Clean Design. A Green Passport complying with IMO ship recycling recommendations is issued. M/V ”ISLAND CONSTRUCTOR” is built, equipped, and painted (tanks and exterior) in drydock inside covered dockhall, thus ensuring a controllable atmosphere and the best quality of work.
