Text version of the page
DESIGN AND The boat is a boat catamaran. The two hulls of this catamaran have
GENERAL LAYOUT two-bilged contours, are flat-keeled, with longitudinal steps. The
boat dimensions allow its trailer-towing.
The vessel features glassed cabin providing good visibility and capacious enough for 4 persons. The boat control panel and the 4 seats are located here.
The vessel has an extensive free board-to-board cockpit about 2 meters long. It contains lockers for moorings, anchors and other equipment storage, and more seats for 3 passengers.
The stern platform allows an easy access to the engine, comfortable embarkation / disembarkation, and diving.
PROPULSION UNIT
The maximum speed with minimum load is about 30-35 knots, 2025 knots under full load.
Outboard motor(s) or a water-jet propeller can be used on this boat as the main propulsion unit.
With a water-jet propeller mounted, STM 6400 SeaWorker has a very small draft without losing its perfect seaworthy qualities that allow to use STM 6400 SeaWorker in difficult conditions, in rough seas, shallow waters over complicated sea-bottom relief - on shoals, in tidal zones, large rivers estuaries and narrows.
Four types of power units can be used on the boat depending on the vessel's usage (three types for outboard motors, one - for a fixed engine):
1) 2) 3) 4)
two engines 115 h.p. each; two engines 135 h.p. each; one 225 h.p. engine;
two Alamarin Jet 160 water-jet propellers with Steyr diesel
engines.
Upon customer's request the STM 6400 SeaWorker boat can be equipped with stationary diesel engines with swing-out frames.
The base model is fitted with the minimum equipment set sufficient for navigation.
