MONO-FILAMENT POLYPROPYLENE: A very lightweight, smooth-surfaced rope withgood strength characteristics. It floats and is rot proof. Mono-filament polypropylene is
the most common, used in
boat dock and anchor lines as well as tube tow and ski ropes.

Rope Construction
HOLLOW BRAID: Is made with 8, 12, or 16 strands braided into a single rope. Themiddle of this rope is hollow making it easy to splice. SOLID BRAID: Is made up of many strands of rope braided together to form a solid,round rope. It can be spliced and does not unravel when cut.

rope fiber. DOUBLE BRAID: This rope is actually two ropes in one. The core rope is braided and acover braid is then constructed over the core. The two ropes act as one integrated unit.
This rope can also be spliced. DIAMOND BRAID: Constructed with a parallel running fiber core with a tighter lockingbraided cover. It cannot be spliced. 40
