Rope Construction
HOLLOW BRAID: Is made with 8, 12, or 16 strands braided into a single rope. Themiddle of this rope is hollow making it easy to splice. SOLID BRAID: Is made up of many strands of rope braided together to form a solid,round rope. It can be spliced and does not unravel when cut. >
