Windsurfing, the first “action” watersport, was in many ways the main inspiration for SUP and kiteboarding. The pioneer crew who developed the first gear for the new sports were pretty much all windsurf addicts looking for new ways to enjoy the wind and water. Now the wheel keeps on turning and from kiteboarding we learned that easy transport is important and from SUP the incredible feel of gliding on the water at slower speed resurfaced.
