Horizon HX460S STANDARD HORIZON’s new pocket sized HX460S sets a new standard for OPTIONAL ACCESSORIES: the marine VHF Handheld. Additionally, our Lithium-Ion battery will hold its charge even when the marine radio is unused for months longer than a traditional NiCad. When it is time to recharge your battery, the 110 VAC or 12 VDC quick charger (3 hours or less) will get you back on the air quickly. Finally, there is no surprise when the battery does require a charge : The HX460S features a unique battery life indicator on the LCD that works like a dynamic "gas gauge," indicating when the battery needs to be charged.
