When connected to a GPS position receiver, the Quest repeats latitude and longitude along with time and date on the radio display. This is an important convenience should it be necessary to communicate your vessels position in time of urgency. SUBMERSIBLE Building a submersible radio is no simple task! The QUEST is wrapped in a watertight case with conspicuous gasketing. The radio and all of its connections pass a rigid JIS standard for submersion.
