Shaping the vision Southern Spars’ in-house
boat design software, ‘Rig Calc’, designs every rig to withstand the required loads without overbuilding. This powerful software can integrate with North Sails software ‘Membrain’, ensuring the rig and sails work in unison to deliver the optimum rig and sail combination, every time.
MANUFACTURING
Inner beauty. Outer strength. All custom-built rigs are female moulded in two pieces so that the internal structure and detailing can be optimised and ultimately, the lightest possible mast is produced.
