ES60 single beam
The ES60 echosounder is more than one echo sounder, it is actually several hundred echosounders. This is because you can configure the ES60 almost any way you want starting with one frequency (at your choice) and a single beam echo-sounder to a multipple frequency split beam system. Picture shown
left displays a one frequency system with the clarity and resolution only known to the ES60. The windows operation makes the ES60 very easy to operate and enables you to configure the screen the way you want with rezising the different windows to boat suit your needs.
ES60 with single beam single frequency.
The most common dual frequency configuration is the 38/200 or 50/200 kHz systems using the Simrad Combi transducers. However any two frequencies can be chosen to maximize the performance of your fishery. The two frequencies can be operated completely independent with settings like gain, pulse length
and range set induvidually. You can add on as many frequencies you want and you can display up to four frequencies at the same time.
The flexibility of the ES60 is endless and by starting with a small system you can add on frequencies and more power as your fishery develops.
ES60 with single beam dual frequency.
In shallow water fishing or fishing close to the surface you need a transducer with a wide coverage area. The Simrad Combi-Wide can be interfaced with the ES60 making it the perfect shallow water echo-sounder. This configuration is popular among scallop and mussel draggers
as the resolution on the ES60 is extreemly high giving you the details of the bottom that you need. The ES60 can output the bottom data on an ethernet line to bottom hardness systems capable of process such information.

TOP OF THG LING TRANSDUCERS
Combi-C and D
The Simrad Combi C and D transducers are a dual frequency 1kW transducer, You can chose between
38/200kHz and 50/200kHz. Both
transducers has a narrow beam
(7X7° on 200kHz,10x16° on the 50kHz and 13x21° on the 38kHz). The Combi-C is a perfect match for the PI44 echosounder and the Combi-D is widley used on the ES60.

Combi-W
The Combi-W is a 38/200kHz transducer with a 30° beam angle on both frequencies. This is the first transducer in the world with such a wide beam angle making it perfect
for shallow water and close to the surface fishing. The high resolution you get from 200kHz is ideal for this purpose and makes it unique in the fishing industry.
