RD68 dVHF - compact unit with DSC
The RD68 is a full class 'D' DSC radio capable of sending and receiving all calls the yachtsman require. Simple connection to a Boat gps receiver via NMEA input, ensures that the distress call will send your exact position. The RD68 is offered with the option of either an active fist microphone or telephone style handset.
Transmits:
• Distress Call
• Individual routine calls
• All Ships Safety call
• All Ship Urgency call
• Group call (for flotillas or racing]
Dot matrix. Large, clear back lit LCD and soft keys for intuitive operation.
Receives:
• All above calls and acknowledgements
• Individual Safety Call
• Individual Urgency Call
• Distress Relay Call
The distress key is protected from accidental operation by a spring loaded cover.
RT64 VHF
Voice only VHF
For users requiring voice telephony only, Simrad offers the RT64. Built to the same high standards as the RD68, this radio provides all the facilities of a radio telephone, including the full range of scan facilities. The RT64 can be provided with either an active fist microphone or telephone style handset.
