SEAJET TRIPLE PACK Product description Seajet Triple Pack is a self-polishing coating suitable for propellers, stern gear and trim tabs. The Triple Pack is an all-in-one product. This coating lasts for one season. Seajet Triple Pack is suitable for motorboats and sailing yachts up to 40 knots. Suitable for aluminium, stainless steel and alloy. Product data Pack sizes Epoxy primer & very high performance, self-polishing antifouling paint. SEAJET 114 PROPELLER PRIMER: Please revert to attached Technical Data Sheet. SEAJET 034 EMPEROR A: Please revert to attached Technical Data Sheet. Surface preparation Step 1: Remove all contamination and old antifouling from the surface to be coated. Use a combination of scraping, abrasive paper and abrasive pads. Fresh water wash. Step 2: For bronze, aluminium and stainless steel surfaces: Key the surface using P80 grade wet and dry abrasive. For factory coated outdrives and stern gear: P-180 abrasive paper is recommended to provide a physical key. Step 3: Take care to rub the surface to be painted with a thinner, such as acetone, to clean off any possible residue. Step 4: Mix SEAJET 114 PROPELLER PRIMER Component A with Component B. Add Component B to the base (Component A) whilst stirring. Stir well before use or 5 minutes. Apply the mixed product SEAJET 114 PROPELLER PRIMER first to the edges of the propeller by brush assuring good cover age and then apply 1 coat all over by brush. Dispose of the mixed product carefully when finished. Step 5: Minimum of 10 hours (at 15°C) after the application of primer it has to be over coated with 2 coats of SEAJET 034 EMPEROR A. Stir SEAJET 034 EMPEROR A before use for 5 minutes and apply 1 coat of SEAJET 034 EMPEROR A over the full surface of the propeller. Step 6: After application of the 1st coat of SEAJET 034 EMPEROR A allow a minimum of 6-7 hours (at 15°C) before applying the 2nd coat of SEAJET 034 EMPEROR A. Leave to dry for a minimum of 15 hours before launching (at 15°C). Maximum interval before launching is 6 months. Leave to dry for a minimum of 15 hours before launching (at 15°C). Containers must be kept firmly closed. Handle with care. Transportation The product should stay in a securely closed container during transport. Avoid skin contact and inhalation of spray mist and vapours. d. If the product comes into contact with the skin, wash thoroughly with luke warm water and soap or suitable cleaner. If the eyes are contaminated, irrigate with water and seek medical advice immediately. e. Since the product contains flammable materials, keep away from sparks and open flames. No smoking should be permitted in the area.
