SEAJET 033 SHOGUN Product description Seajet 033 Shogun is premium self polishing antifouling which is highly effective against slime and weed. Suitable for high fouling areas. Suitable for all types of pleasure craft with a maximum speed up to 40 knots. Before use, stir thoroughly until product is mixed to a uniform consistency. Notes * Film thickness and spreading rate depends on application method, more layers may be required to achieve the specified film thickness. Maximum immersion time after application is 6 months. After immersion, Seajet 033 Shogun may exhibit a slight colour change. Colour difference between batches may occur. Mix different batches before use. Surface preparation High pressure fresh water wash (±200 bar) to remove all fouling and contamination including the leached layer. Existing antifouling in good condition: check the Seajet antifouling compatibility table. If compatible, apply direct. If the old antifouling is not compatible or unknown, apply a barrier coat of Seajet 015. Existing antifouling in poor condition: remove antifouling. Antifouling should only be wet sanded, never dry sand old antifouling. Ensure the surface is dry and free of contamination such as salt, grease or oil. Degrease if required. Apply two coats. Apply an extra coat on leading edges, waterline, rudders and stern gear. Bare substrate: GRP/Steel: first sand with P100 abrasive paper, remove all dust and apply Seajet 117 or Seajet 015 primer. Wood: first sand with P100 abrasive paper, remove all dust and apply Seajet 015 primer. Aluminium: DO NOT USE Seajet 033 Shogun on aluminium surfaces.

SEAJET 033 SHOGUNDrying / overcoating data Temperature Notes: Drying times and overcoating intervals will increase with increasing film thickness applied. Before re-coating, always check that the existing paint film is 'through' dry. General information Storage Store the containers in a dry, cool and well ventilated space and away from direct sunlight.
