For 10 years I have followed RickShalvoy in a SE 14 or 12.6 as herows around Long Island. Hedoes these trips to raise moneyfor breast cancer research. I actas his support boat. I carry 2GPS’s, an 18 gallon gas tank, VHFradio, weather radio for boat, sailboat compass, food for 8 days, water for 8days, sleeping bag, changes ofclothing, marine charts, maps, manualsand waterproof boxes and bagsto sailboat house all this stuff. On thesetrips (usually 8 or 9 days & over300 miles each) I have to motorthrough 8 to 12 foot oceanwaves, fierce tidal currents, thunderstorms & blazing sun. I call my Sea Eagle 14 “CanDo”. Seaworthy in all Seasons, our “CAN DO”Sport Closed bow Can Go Through Ocean Surf, Tidal Currents & More! 12.6 SR & 14 SR 12.6 SR & 14 SR

The Sea Eagle 12.6 SR and 14 SR combine great horsepower and weight capacity with reasonableportability. Designed to carry up to 30 HP and 40 HP engines respectively, these boats will travel at 25 to 30 mph and handle rough seas with ease. The large 18” and 19” pontoons respectively allow these boats to easily support six to seven people and provide greater rigidity to the hull. The 7” and 9” inflatable keels on 12.6 SR and 14 SR respectively cut through the waves and provide excellent turning performance. The rounded shape of the rear pontoons helps these models and its smaller sisters, the 9.2 SR& 10.6 SR, get up on a fast and easy plane. A unique feature of these models is the sharper, more pointed bow which makes them particularly suited to riding over large ocean waves. They make great fishing and diving boats. The fact that they can take larger HP engines allows you to getto where the fish really are...fast! And their larger size will easily carry four divers with all their gear. Two or three fishermen can comfortably fish out of these models. And with a 30 HP to 40 HP engine for boat, you caneven water-ski or tow kneeboards.
