To test the durability of these polyethylene plastic floorboards, over ten years ago we made an 8' x 12' floating pier using our plastic floorboards as the top decking. This dock has stayed constantly in a tidal bay... summer and winter..for over ten years. In spite of constant exposure to salt water, oil, gas, racoons, birds, UV radiation, sunlight, freezing cold winters and blazing hot summers, the original over ten year old floorboards look as good as they did when they were first installed.
