LEGEND

The Aqua Lung Legend ACD Seriesfeatures a variety of second stages all specially constructed and tuned to function properly with the overbalan- ced Legend Diaphragm First Stage. The Legend ACD series uses a stan- dard yoke connector and an optional DIN adapter is available as an acces- sory.Legendary performance from Aqua Lung:a tradition for 60 years. The Legend LX diaphragm first stagecombines the reliability of a complete- ly sealed unit with the ease of brea- thing and quality construction com- mon to all Aqua Lung regulators. The Legend LX adjustable balancedsecond stage delivers air with consis- tent ease regardless of tank pressure and is near neutrally buoyant in the water.Like all Aqua Lung second stages, the Legend LX is equipped with the exclusive Comfo- Bite™ mou- thpiece, virtually eliminating jaw fatigue. The Legend LX Supreme ACD is the cold-water version of the Legend LXACD.It is designated by the “snowflake”which is laser-etched into the case, and by the silver accent ring on the front. It has all the same featuresas the Legend LX ACD and the following cold water features:• Specifically adjusted to pass the stringent European Standards for cold-water regulator performance• A mouthpiece lip shield for warmth in extreme cold • Built-in heat exchanger.

REGULATORS • Over-balanced diaphragm design delivers superiorbreathing performance even at increased depths• Equipped with an environmentally sealed drychamber that helps resist freezing and keeps theinternal mechanism clean and dry• Aqua Lung’s "Air Turbo System" integrated into the for-ward medium pressure ports, boosts the regulator’s breathing perfor-mance • Two high-pressure ports and four low-pressure ports, angled for optimalhose configuration• Black polyurethane coating protects the exterior metal surfaces • ACD
REGULATORS 2nd Stage • Pneumatically balanced second stage provides consistent ease ofinhalation at any tank pressure• Inhalation adjustment feature allows diver to control breathing gasdelivery under a variety of diving conditions• Over-sized venturi lever is easy to reach and use during the dive, but ispositioned to avoid entanglement• Gold accent ring for reduced weight and distinctive appearance. The Legend Supreme is the cold water version of the Legendand can be identified by the “snowflake”laser-etched into the case.It is matched with the same Legend first stage as found on the other Legend models, and shares the same performan- ce features as the Legend, plus the following:• Specifically adjusted to pass the stringent EuropeanStandards for cold-water regulator performance• A mouthpiece lip shield for warmth in extreme cold • Built-in heat exchangers. The Legend regulator uses a second stage that is a pneumatically balan-ced design that does not require diver adjustment. This is reliability and simplicity at its best! The Legend is matched exclusively with the Legend over-balanced diaphragm first stage. • Pneumatic balancing for superior ease of inhalation at any tank pres-sure• Large,easy-to-grip venturi lever reduces sensitivity to free flow onthe surface and provides maximum gas flow at depth.
