STEERING SYSTEM
- Edson wheel steering with 40" five spoke Comfort Grip Destroyer wheel, guard and brake.
- Ritchie SP5 boat compass mounted in binnacle.
- Emergency tiller stored in cockpit locker.
- Balanced rudder is molded fiberglass bonded to a carbon fiber rudder post passing through a removable UHMW bearing and support tube securely laminated to the hull.
AUXILIARY ENGINE
- Yanmar 40 hp 3JH4E fresh water cooled diesel with reduction gear. Electric shut-off.
- Single lever engine control
- 12-volt 80 amp alternator.
- 40 gallon custom aluminum fuel tank, deck filled, shut-off valve, vented and grounded.
- Racor fuel filter/water separator.
- Raw water intake strainer with wrench.
- Four point marine engine mount system optimized to reduce vibration and noise.
- Engine compartment exhaust blower.
- Engine compartment light.
- Complete engine access though sound and heat insulated removable panels.
- Tach, hour meter, volt, fuel, oil and temperature gauges are recessed in cockpit face.
- 1-1/8" Aquamet (or equal) prop shaft passes through a glassed-in PYI drip less shaft seal with bronze strut, right hand two blade sailor propeller.
KEEL
- A modern fin keel cast in lead with antimony added for strength.
- Thru-bolted to a reinforced keel sump with stainless steel bolts and bronze nuts.
ELECTRICAL SYSTEM
- Four (3- house and one engine start) 12-volt 110 amp group 31 deep cycle marine batteries with sealed 2 position battery switch.
- 110V shore power system with GFI protection and 50 foot shorepower cord
- Pro Mariner battery charger
- Master AC/DC Bass 6200 marine circuit breaker panels (black) located at the chart table, include AC/DC volt and ammeters, and polarity indicator. Space is provided for additional breakers and electronic gear.
- 12V outlet at chart table
- Macerator pump on head.
- All wiring is tinned, color coded and meets USCG standards.
- 12V Sea Frost refrigeration unit
- Microwave oven in galley
VENTILATION AND LIGHT
- 5 Lewmar polished Ocean Series deck hatches with Ocean Air blinds/screens.
- 2 stainless steel dorade vents.
- 4 main cabin fixed port lights of Marguard Lexan.

- The deck is fastened to the hull using stainless steel thru bolts.
