Unless you are a game fishing aficionado, the cockpit simply looks like a great place for relaxing or entertaining. After all, it is very spacious, there’s a comfortable mezzanine lounge, a coolbox for your refreshments, the swim platform is huge and features a concealed swim ladder (and there’s an optional hydraulic lifter for launching a PWC or tender). But for the fishing fan there’s more to it than this.A large storage or fish bin in the centre of the cockpit floor has integrated pump-out facilities; the optional live bait tank in the coaming features optimal water circulation, a clear window and lighting; there’s a moulded sink with removable cutting board; and that transom open out ‘tuna door’ also has an independent lift-up bridge for additional ease and safety. If you take your fishing seriously, the 48 is seriously worth considering. When you step into the raised helm area, the list of inclusions and attention to detail is just as impressive. The helm console sits on a platform flanked by fixed, tinted side windows and a vast, curved, toughened glass windscreen. The view is magnificent - and three heavy-duty pantograph wipers with fresh water washers help keep it that way.When you add it all up, the 48 Offshore Express is quite a catch.

2 2, 3, 4. The well equipped galley has ample storage with positive locking hardware above and below the solid surface benchtop. It includes a convection microwave oven, recessed dual element electric cooktop with cover and a rangehood. There are two drawer refrigerators, a drawer freezer and pot drawer or optional dishwasher below the benchtop. High quality Amtico flooring features throughout the galley and saloon. 5, 6, 7, 8. An L-shaped leather saloon lounge faces the entertainment system with 32-inch LCD TV. A sliding panel and door to the master stateroom allow for an open atmosphere or can be closed for privacy. 3 4
