Spending quality time with those who count most in your life and spending that time exploring idyllic waterways and mighty coastlines is what boating is all about. And that’s the thinking that has shaped the flybridge of the new 41.It is a very social place. For a start, a portside lounge, a large L-shaped lounge on the starboard side. Nor should we forget the dedicated audio system that allows you to enjoy separate music sources inside and outside your boat. The low-profile hardtop is a high-quality, lightweight, closed moulded component. The hardtop’s stainless- steel supports accentuate the 41’s lines while enhancing visibility from the helm station. A very slim-line helm station it is too, with a modern European-style console capable of housing up to two 12” display panels. Sitting in your helm chair at the ergonomically designed flybridge console, with your hands on the Edson stainless-steel wheel, the sense of control is magnificent. Add the presence of family and friends and the experience of satisfaction is incomparable. The cockpit is also well equipped and ideal for entertaining, as it is for sport fishing. You are sure to appreciate fishing features such as the new non-skid pattern on the sole, the recessed toe-kicks under low-profile lockers, large storage bin and optional live-bait well.Storage is always a consideration on boats and the new 41 excels here. There is a large removable storage bin under the cockpit sole and three rubber-sealed cockpit coaming lockers for lines and fenders. There’s also a top-loading refrigerated coolbox in the port forward quarter of the cockpit. To maximise the cockpit space and to aid access to the side-decks, the side deck steps are moulded into the coaming. It’s one of dozens of details – such as the stainless-steel grab rail integrated into the aft edge of the swim platform – that combine to create a much more pleasing pleasure craft.

The ergonomically designed slimline helm station supports up to two 12-inch electronics display panels, a stainless steel Edson wheel and comprehensive electronic marine engine monitoring systems.
