bers (subject to quick deterioration) and to the
rubber fenders (heavy and with a low energy
absorption together with a high reaction force).

® FENDERSare entirely made of closed-cell elastic expanded polyethylene that guaranteesunsinkability even in case of damage caused by breaking, rupturing or shearing when hitting rough ves-
sel sides. The high elasticity of expanded polyethyleneensures a high energy absorption with low reactionforce, which is essential to eliminate the risk of damage to the vessels hull.The expanded polyethyleneis wrapped and welded around the steel zinc core, and is covered by a
high thickness of elastomer polyurethane that gives an optimum abrasion and breaking resistance,
which ensures a long performance even under strenous conditions.
During various tests carried out, RESINEX
® FENDERS have undergone compressions of up to 80%with no damage and almost complete immediate dimensional recovery.
