Rod: Ziehen Sie das Vorstag so weit aus derVerstellachse heraus, daß Sie die beiden Klemmbacken auf das Stag setzen können. Nachdem Sie die Klemmbacken etwas einge- fettet auf dem Stag positioniert haben, wer- den diese bis an die Verstellachse zurück- geschoben und anschließend mit ihr handfest Draht: Ziehen Sie das Vorstag so weit aus derVerstellachse heraus, daß Sie die Spezialmut- ter auf das Boat terminal schrauben können. Nachdem Sie die Mutter ganz auf das Termi- nal geschraubt haben, sichern Sie diese mit dem zugehörigen Stift. Anschließend ziehen Sie das Vorstag so weit in die Verstellachse zurück, daß die Mutter an der Verstellachse anliegt . verschraubt. Schieben Sie das Rod soweit in die Anlage, daß der Kopf innerhalb der Klemmbacken sitzt.

Rod: Slide the forestay out of the drum axle asfar as it will go. ( It may be necessary to push the rod quite firmly from the top end ). After greasing the split retaining brackets fit them around the rod and screw them firmly back in- to the adjuster axle. Push the rod back until the cold head fits into the split brackets. Wire: Slide the forestay out of the drum axleas far as it will go. ( It may be necessary to push the wire quite firmly from the top end ). Screw on the special nut and secure with the pin provided. Pull the headstay from the top as far as possible to ensure that the bottom end is seated correctly within the adjuster axle. Seite / page 36
