Fig. 2a / Fig. 2b To adjust the tension fix the ad-juster bush with one hand (5) and turn the winch handle with the other hand (6). (to tighten the furling section turn the winch handle clockwise). In any case tight the adjuster only with the power of your hand. For the manual system please note: There are different ways to adjust the turning direction of the line tender. If the adjuster B is in the position L , you can turn it only clockwise and in position R , you can turn it only counter clockwise. There are two possibilities for the mid position: If you have only one line tender directely at the mast, it is locked in both ways. If you have a second one at the deck, it is free in both ways.After finishing the adjustments ofthe furling section, slide the ad- juster bush down and ensure lin- ing up of the keyway inside with the groove on the lower thread part of the adjuster. Rember to lock the adjuster bush with the securing screw after making any adjustments.
