The right tension of the furling section

For easy sail furling it is impor-tant to get the correct tension on the furling section. Before adjusting the furling sec- tions, the aft stay has to be re- leased completely to get the mast straight.Fig. 1a / Fig. 1b Turn the furling section into posi-tion (1) that you can withdraw the security screw A with a screwdriver (2). Insert a standard winch handle into the winch socket (3) and slide the adjuster bush up (4) until you can see the whole thread.continued on page 6 4 1 2 A
