Furling the manual system
pending on the wind direction,you have to choose for both line
tenders the same adjuster posi-
tions L or R.
Please note! Furl or unfurl the
sail
never with the
winch handle at
line tender 1, if it's in the adjuster
position M (idle motion). In this
case the winch handle has no se-
curity locking mechanism for the
counter wise turning direction. If
you take your hands of the han-
dle in this situation, the wind
pressure in the sail will be trans-
mitted directly to the handle, this
can start an uncontrolled rota-
tion of it, that induce a risk of

Edition with one line tender at the mast:
The line tender has 3 different ad-juster positions for two turning
directions.
Position L : turning direction
clockwise
Position M : both turning direc-
tions are locked
Position R : turning direction
counter clockwise
For the furling and unfurling, de-
pending on the wind direction,
you have to choose the position L
or R. The function of the position
M is to lock the rolling mecha-
nism in every sail position you
want . Please note, that the furling linelies always outside of the pins S
and never between them!
If you like to remove the furling
line from the line tender, you
have to withdraw the snap ring
and then you can slide the bogie
from the winch socket. >
Edition with two line tender, one at the mast and on the deck:
You have the choice to furl and
unfurl the sail directly at the
mast with line tender 1 or at the
deck with line tender 2. Please
note, that both line tenders have
three different positions to adjust
the security locking mechanism
of both turning directions.
Position L : turning direction
clockwise
Position R : turning direction
counter clockwise
Position M line tender 1 :
idle motion!
Position M line tender 2 : both
