| | | The EF90 electric Roller Reefing Systems combine a trend-setting design with a high level of efficiency in an extremely high-performance system.They are designed for yachts of approximately 36 to 70 feet in length and forestays of 8 to 16 mm in diameter (alternatively rods from -12 to - 60). Newly developed gearing combined with bearing technology that makes no compromise on quality, guarantee the EF90 unprecedented functionality and a quiet operation. Another design feature is the self- braking worm gear which is nearly maintenance free. It is a relief to know that in emergency situations the drive can be easily switched to a manual operation. In order to guarantee safe and easy handling, the force from the sails is completely diverted away and, as a result, cannot act directly on the winch handles.
