assembly of the forestay when you have done all above given steps the forestay needs to be inserted in the profile. Start inserting with the bottom end of the stay in the top end of the profile. Be careful and do not use strong forces, this may cause movement of the bushings on the stay. Take care that the bottom cap is fixed properly in the foil adapter. When the stay is connected with the unit and the halyard swivel is on the stay, insert the top cap in the foil an secure with two screws provided.

Endmontage des Vorstages

Wenn das Profilvorstag fertig verklebt und ausge-härtet ist, die Klebereste aus dem Profil ausge- bohrt sind und alle Buchsen auf dem Vorstag an der richtigen Position fixiert wurden, wird nun das Vorstag in das Profil von oben eingeführt. Achten Sie hierbei besonders darauf, dass Sie das Rodvorstag mit dem unteren Ende von oben in das Profil einfädeln. Gehen Sie auch hierbei mit größter Sorgfalt vor und wenden Sie keine Gewalt an - es besteht sonst die Gefahr, dass die Buchsen sich auf dem Vorstag verschieben könnten. Achten Sie auf den richtigen Sitz der Fussbuchse im Mitnehmerdorn. Wenn die Getriebeeinheit mon- tiert und der Fallenschlitten aufgeschoben ist, führen Sie die Topkappe von oben in das Profil ein und sichern sie mit den zwei mitgelieferten Schrauben.

Vorbereitung der Topkappe
Stecken Sie die beiden Hälften der Topkappe so in dasTopprofil, dass die Trennungsebene der beiden Hälften von der Vorderkante des Profils zur Hinterkante mit den Nuten verläuft. Bohren Sie nun zusammen, wie auf der Abbildung zu sehen, auf beiden Seiten durch das Profil und die jeweilige Topkappenhälfte ein Loch mit dem Durchmesser d=3mm. Für die weitere Montage entfernen Sie die Topkappe wieder. preperation of the top cap
Insert both halfes of the top cap into the top section and carefully drill a pilot hole (diameter = 3mm) on each side for the screws provided. Remove the top capfor further installation .
