“T

his is one powerful inboard diesel. I can take her a lot further offshore than my previous boat. And I’m really impressed by the quality of the fit and finish that went into the construction – from bow to stern. She’s built to handle anything – a long day in search of trophies, or a lazy afternoon on the hook. I’m really glad I took that step up to an inboard.”

The helm pod tilts aft for easy access to wiring and electronics and features a 16” x 24” electronics area, digital engine monitoring displays and a lighted compass. The stainless steel helm wheel has cushion comfort finger grips and a control knob.

The lockable tackle center features large slide-out storage drawers with dividers, a molded fiberglass sink with spray nozzle and a cutting board and lid.The generously large cockpit area features a swing-out transom door with top lid, starboard and port coaming bolsters, a 38-gallon custom lighted bait well, an insulated fish box – that is both removable and macerated – and both fresh and raw water washdowns. As with all Rampage models, the insulated bait well features a lid-within-a-lid, the larger lid providing access when used as a Catch box, the smaller see-through center lid for working with live bait.

“Sometimes when I’m really far offshore I stop and think about how reluctant I was to step up to an inboard. Now I wonder why I didn’t do it years ago.”
