As per other PROFURL manual headsail furling models, the rope drum and cage are removable. The furling line is attached to one half of the furling drum allowing for removal/rebuild. The double cage arms are engineered to withstand the yachts loads and maintain the alignment of the furling line onto the rope drum. 11
