The flyingkeelboat Photo credit O TECHNICAL The Open 5,70 is meant for sailors who have experienced fun surfing on smalldinghies or catamarans and want to find once again the same sensations on a
small, safe, sport keelboat.
Small, simple and well designed, the Open 5,70 cannot capsize and is unsin-
kable. An asymmetrical spinnaker, easy to handle, drives the boat downwind
and may safely reach high speeds (up to 18 knots).
Constraints have been reduced to the minimum. Hoisting the mast and laun-
ching the boat can be done by yourself. Whether you want to drive to a regatta
or simply cruise for a weekend, its format within the legal trailering size will
allow you to tow it easily.
