Business Lines – ROVs, Trenchers, Robotics
ROV & Trencher systems, sub systems, and anciliary equipment including manipulators.
For the past half century Perry Slingsby Systems (PSS) has established and maintained itself as the world’s leading supplier of Remotely Operated Vehicles (ROVs). Perry Slingsby Systems
has produced over 425 ROV systems, more than all other manufacturers combined. From the pioneering development of the Industry’s early workclass ROV, through to the introduction of computer hardware and software technologies, PSS has led the market providing enabling
technologies to clients remote intervention needs. >

® XLS
The Triton >
® XLS is the latest evolution of the Triton >
® XL series. With over 50 systems delivered and a proven history in reliability and efficiency, the Triton >
® XL is the worlds most successful advancedworkclass ROV. Building on the success of this series, the Triton >
ROV Software Design ® XLS incorporates more thrust, payload and space, features which clients have been quick to capitalize on.All components and controls are proven Perry XL and ST designs with their inherent reliability androbustness. Eight high performance thrusters (4 vertical and 4 horizontal) provide symmetrical thrust
in all directions. With the highest standard payload of 350 kg wet weight (with standard equipment
and manipulators installed) and the largest inside frame volume, the Triton >
® XLS can carry more sensors and tooling than ever before. The improved TXLS power system features a total of 3 KVA
for up to twelve 250 Watt lights with additional customer DC and AC power capacity. The control
system features additional serial I/O (8 channels, expandable to 16) and video (8 channels) for
more sensors and cameras in a single canister design. The 3,000 kg lifting capability of the Triton >
Triton ® XLS 125 HP Workclass ROV ® XLS provides the platform for a wide variety of toolingmodules, including the most advanced pipeline connection systems and trenching skids. The vehicle
is equipped with all the power delivery, instrumentation and telemetry management systems to
support turnkey construction operations in virtually any water depth.Worksite delivery for the vehicle in deepwater is normally via a Tether Management System >
® , asophisticated subsea winch assembly used to store and deploy tether cable, which links the ROV
and main lift umbilical for power and communications with the surface vessel. PSS has designed
and manufactured top-hat and garage style tether management systems to compliment its ROV
products, and typically delivers a TMS >
® ® with about half of all ROVs sold. >
