Open Weave PU Fabrics

Pennel & Flipo has developed a range of “open weave” PU fabrics, a process that en-capsulates the threads and allows for the bonding of both sides of the coating. This design provides outstanding adhesion levels and is recommended where high “peel” strength is required such as in welded closures of oil boom’s inflatable sections. We can offer a wide choice of weaves to match your tensile specifications from 225 lbs/inch tensile strength and higher. Coatings can be balanced or unbalanced and gauges adjusted to your requirements from 20 to 45 oz. Various colours are available. We only use virgin and non blended Polyether PU.
