ORCA® Hardener

This glue is developed especially for the bonding of Neoprene and chlo-rosulfonated polyethylene water resistant materials, as used for inflatable dinghies. It also serves as a suitable bonding agent for various types of rubber composites, such as SBR and neoprene/metal. When applying this glue, add 5% to 10% of ORCA ® Hardener RFE according to the amount of ORCA ® Glue used. From 10 liters of mixed product, it is possible to improve the pot life of the adhesive reducing the quantity of Hardener to 5% only. PROCESSING: The addition of ORCA ® Hardener improves significantly the adhesion, cohesion and the heat resistance of the final bons. (dilutable with hexan) GLUING VALUE: During laboratory testing using sample materials, the following average results were obtained: Peeling test: - Peeling test at 20°C—value >18 daN/5cm - Samples placed in hot room at 70°C during 10min Peeling test at 70°C— value > 8daN/5cm These above values are given as examples only. Depending on their composi- tion, surfaces should either be cleaned or rub-down before the glue is applied. Page 11
