ROHS AND WEEE DIRECTIVES
Peli Products has upgraded their rechargeable torches from Nickel Cadmium (NiCad) to Nickel Metal Hydride (NiMH) in order to comply with the RoHS Directive 2002/95/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27th January 2003 on the restriction of the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment. Peli Products also complies with the Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Directive, which requires all electrical and electronic equipment placed on the market after 13th August 2005 to have a WEEE marking. Therefore you will find this image on all pertinent packaging and instruction sheets developed by Pelican/Peli Products.
