| | | The hull and deck are laminated with carbon fiber and epoxy resin, impregnated into the fabrics. then the entire laminate is vacuum bagged before the hull and deck are cured in a computer-controlled oven, outerlimits uses a grid of hull stringers, including side stringers and transverse bulkheads. stringers in the engine for boats compartment are fiberglass and carbon encapsulated PeNSKE extreme composite. those used throughout the rest of the boat are cored with weight-saving CoRECELL foam and encapsulated with fiberglass and carbon. ALL stringers and bulkheads are installed with the hull still in the mold to insure the final hull matches the design specifications. the stringer bases have 45-degree fillets to evenly distribute the load. the deck is bonded to the hull and to the structural bulkheads with fiberglass.
