"Cutting edge post-cured epoxy technology."
True offshore performance and safety demands nothing less than the most rugged durability - and durability comes down to construction. outer li m its outdoes any other powerboat builder by being the only performance boat suppliers company that utilizes post-cured epoxy construction technology, under strict quality controls. Resin impregnators, which precisely control the uniform application of boat epoxy resin into fabrics, along with a compu"er controlled oven in which the completed hull or deck is post-cured before removing from the mold. post-curing eliminates cosmetic problems that may
occur with epoxy marine resins. It also assures that the epoxy resin has
cured completely to achieve 100 % of its design strength. The process includes complete vacuum bagging, not only the cores, but also the entire laminate. the epoxy construction method substantially reduces weight while increasing strength and rigidity. This technology allows for higher speeds with the same engines or tl ie same speeds witi i smaller engines, wl iile at tl ie same time, achieving higher fuel economy. the result is a superior craft.
"The only performance boat company utilizing oven-baked epoxy technology."
"State of the art construction from start to finish."
The hull and deck are laminated with carbon fiber and epoxy resin, impregnated into the fabrics. then the entire laminate is vacuum bagged before the hull and deck are cured in a computer-controlled oven, outerlimits uses a grid of hull stringers, including side stringers and transverse bulkheads. stringers in the engine for boats compartment are fiberglass
and carbon encapsulated PeNSKE extreme composite. those used throughout the rest of the boat are cored with weight-saving CoRECELL foam and encapsulated with fiberglass and carbon. ALL stringers and bulkheads are installed with the hull still in the mold to insure the final hull matches the design specifications. the stringer bases have 45-degree fillets to evenly distribute the load. the deck is bonded to the hull and to the structural bulkheads with fiberglass. In addition, all interior components are fib erg lass ed to the hull and deck to insure rattle-free permanent installation.
"Where engineering
and perfection meet."
'quaostep activation ventilation system."
The four step system (two larger, two smaller), is one of the design features that makes outerlimits the performance machine. The Fiore's were the originators of offshore stepped hull design and through their innovations, continu e thelr prominence with the latest advances.
