Coupling
A prestressed wire runs the length of the pontoon and powerful polyurethane buffers in the skirting ensure that the chain of pontoons are directionally very stable. This results in an effective distribution of forces throughout the entire pier.
Fender
Solidly dimensioned wooden fenders (5" x 6"). The fastening method with through shaft for wooden fenders eliminates the risk of them being torn away and subjects the concrete structure only to pressure forces. The fingers can easliy be fixed to the fender and adjusted to provide the desired berth widths. When subjected to loads and impacts, not least from permanently mounted fingers, the forces are transferred to the opposite side.
Wave-breaker
The pontoon's wave-breaking effect is regulated by the weight, draught and width, and can be modified for the individual site. Larger pontoons can be supplied upon request.
Auxiliary equipment
Mooring bollards, bathing/safety marine ladders, lighting and electricity bollards, water posts, and railings.
