It is now even easier to find the weather that you want!
WeatherNet has an optional interface for quick access to some of the most widely used weather and ocean products. Products
such as 7 day text forecasts and a variety of GRIB wind, wave, surface pressure, and precipitation data are available from the
new interactive screen (seen on brochure cover). Ocean data such as ocean currents,
surface temps, and sea surface heights are also available directly via this view. We have
placed the interactive world map right up front so that users can easily choose the area
of the world for which they want that data for and then just hit the 'Download Weather'
button. It is that easy!
WeatherNet still offers thousands of other weather and ocean products, all available to
you by just clicking on the ‘More Products’ button. Once in the ‘More Products’ view,
users simply drag the weather product(s) he/she wishes to download into batch folders
and then pushes the download button. WeatherNet immediately connects to the server
via a wireless connection or email (satellite phone, HF/Pactor Radio) and downloads the
requested data. After the download, WeatherNet can be configured to automatically
display the new weather data.
Wireless Interfaces
WeatherNet supports any wireless interface running Windows Dial Up or email service
that accepts attachments. Simply select your connection!

Pricing
WeatherNet's fee structure is revolutionary. Simply activate your account and then pay for only the weather you download.
Each weather product is priced independently. Costs for products and estimated download air time are computed prior to the
download. Most content is priced between 18 and 80 cents per item. Billing is on a per item basis with no monthly minimum.
Downloads are added up and billed to your credit card once per month.
You also now have the flexibility to pre-pay for your
WeatherNet downloads with OCENS pre-paid data
services cards. Just contact OCENS or your local
dealer for more information.
WeatherNet service and software will reduce your
connect and download time by a factor of 5-10 for
most content, saving you money on your airtime
bills.
Over 20,000 conveniently indexed and highly compressed weather products immediately acquired through your choice

OCENS’ GRIB Explorer and MetMapper software (sold separately) add special enhancements boosting the utility of acquired
