Between the crew and your passengers is the 74’s marine engine room. With explosion-proof lighting, rubber flooring and a design honed by perfectionists, it simplifies access to every system on the boat. Headquartered here are trouble-free Headhunter™ fresh-water and seawater systems, a complete Delta T positive pressure system and fully color-coded piping for fuel, water and hydraulics. Twin Caterpillar® 1000 HP engines and two 25KW Northern Lights® generators power the heartbeat of the 74. For a racier pulse, engine upgrades are available.If you choose to include a lower helm, the 74 Boat motoryacht will outfit it with our signature Ocean Alexander inlaid ship’s wheel, an oversized dash complete with state-of-the-art instrumentation, a chart drawer beneath the adjoining high-low table and a spacious cabinet for any other navigational needs. A black ultraleather Stidd® helm chair finishes off the captain’s conveniences. The 74’s crew quarters sleep two in twin bunks, or can accommodate a larger single for your captain. Either way, these restful quarters include a mini-galley with a sink, microwave and refrigerator, washer/dryer and an entertainment system (TV/DVD/audio). Its access via cockpit seating preserves privacy well.
