NORTH SAILS Paneled Racing Aramid, NorLam, NorDac North's paneled race mainsails and genoas are designed using the same 3D software used for our 3DL™ molded sails. They're available in fabrics ranging from high tenacity woven Dacrons to Mylar laminates made with polyester, aramid and new Pentex® fibers. North designers can combine different fabrics and/or laminates in different weights within the same sail to deliver the optimum combination of weight, stretch, strength and cost for your style of racing.
