Contains a high level of ultra violet screening agents making it suitable for exterior and interior use. USES: Ideal for floors, furniture and all marine applications especially in heavy duty areas. Has very good water resistance, although not recommended for areas of constant immersion. U.N. NUMBER: 1263 Page 2 – Poly clear PREPARATION: Bare timber: Ensure the surface is clean, dry and well sanded. Remove all dust from the grain using a rag moistened in mineral turps, Norglass Epoxy Thinner or Acetone. Previously varnished timber: If the old coating is intact and in good condition, wash down with detergent and warm water and lightly sand to a dull finish. Cracked or peeling varnish should be removed back to clean timber otherwise a failure will result.
