It contains superior non toxic rust inhibiting pigments and is formulated to resist humidity and salt spray conditions. Because of NoRUST’s outstanding adhesion it can also be used as a primer for non-ferrous metals andother surfaces. USES: Ferrous metals - Stainless Steel - Cast Iron - Aluminium - Weathered Galvanised Iron - Bronze - Fibreglass - and many other substrates. PROPERTIES (at 20°C) COLOUR: Red Oxide White & Grey TOXICITY: Non Toxic pigments FINISH: Low sheen Texture COVERAGE: 10m2 per litre (D.F.B. 40 microns) DRYING TIME: Touch dry 20 minutes RECOATING: 2 - 3 HOURS - (24 hours if a 2 pack is to be brush applied. Allow longer if volatile 2 pack spraying thinners are to be used. POT LIFE: N/A MIXING RATIO: N/A THINNING: Maximum of 5% Weatherfast Brushing Thinners if brushed or rolled. Page 2 – NoRust PREPARATION: Steel: Sandblast to white metal (AS 1627.4) or power sand to a clean metal state. Other Metals: Sandblast or solvent degrease and sand to a clean metal state. APPLICATION: Brush & Roller: Stir thoroughly and apply straight from the can immediately after the surface has been prepared. In hot weather up to 5% of Weatherfast Brushing Thinners can be added to assist flow. At 20°C a second coat may be applied after 3 hours.
