Sea Data Instrument
This stylish yet ruggedly constructed instrument is the gateway to the entry-level Nexus NX instrumentation system, allowing a comprehensive range of data to be displayed in a large, easy-to-read digital format. The Sea Data accepts data direct from speed and depth transducers and, when connected to a WSI connection box, from the wireless wind transducer. With just the first two connected the Sea Data will display speed, depth and distance run, plus water temperature where the transducer allows. It also incorporates a start timer, and
deep and shallow water alarms. With the addition of
the wind transducer the highly versatile Sea Data also
displays apparent wind angle and speed, and true wind angle and speed. All functions are operated using the
buttons on the face of the unit via easy to use scrolling menus, allowing the user to quickly select his primary and secondary readouts. Multiple units can be installed as part of an NX system.
