PERFORMANCE: The Naish Ripper puts pro level performance and durability into a light - weight, easy handling package optimized for kids. The sail is simple to rig, and forgiving to learn on, but make no mistake – if your kid is serious and has what it takes, this is the sail that will deliver the wind range, control - lable power, and balance necessary for future world champions to sail at the highest possible level. WHAT’S NEW: - Single Luff Panel: The Ripper is designed with low internal tension, resulting in an extremely feel and improved low end. This is made possible by the use of a single dacron luff panel which provides neutral shape through the transitions, but inflates with minimal wind pressure for early planing. - Light weight staggered windows: A new, much larger window design uses heavier film in the high impact lower area, and lighter film higher up to reduce weight while increasing visibility. - All New Tack Fairing: This new design adds 360 degree protection at the base and an easy-to-use velcro closure while retaining the unique Naish ‘fold back’ feature for quick, uncomplicated rigging. - Parallel Radial Panel Layout: a second structural seam radiating from the batten above the boom smooths out the critical lower leech area and adds strength without increasing weight.
