A Chest Belt/Crotch Strap Assembly is an accessory for the MD3091/MD3196 providing an option for use as a standalone life preserver (without body armor attachment). The Mustang MSD560 is a tri-laminate nylon and butyl suit developed for surface rescue swimmers. The RSD is intended to function in extreme environments and is currently used aboard US Navy ships and US Coast Guard Cutters as standard equipment for Surface Rescue Swimmers. In addition, the RSD is compatible with aircrew duties in most rotary wing aircraft.Thermal performance of the MSD560, as with any dry suit, is dependent on the type and thickness of the undergarment worn.
