Section 1 – Construction

The yacht is constructed in accordance with Lloyd’s requirements and of marine aluminium alloy AlMg 4,5 Marine Grade 5083 H321 metal sheets 15, 10, 8, and 6mm, aluminum extrusions of 6061 T6 50 x 50, 60 x 60 1.1 HULL AND DECK Round bilge hull with local reinforcements at waterline level and forefoot for cruising in broken ice at extreme latitudes. Welded aluminum deck, pilothouse and cocpit with appropriate reinforcements. The hull and deck are insulated with PU foam from 150 mm below waterline. 1.2 BULKHEADS Watertight bulkheads are at following stations: Collision Bulkhead at sail storage area;
