Howard Apollonio Hull Design His firm Apollonio Naval Architecture offers leading-edge yacht and commercial craft design, engineering, styling, and space planning fora wide range of diverse and advanced craft, including modern and traditional monohulls, catamarans, trimarans, SWATHs, and hydrofoils. They are all versatile and flexible specialists in hull form, ride comfort, propulsion, structure, and noise control. Apollonio has been a Licensed Professional Engineer (Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering) since 1977, and is a 1969 graduate of the University of Michigan (NA & ME). He is a native of Maine, where he had designed and built three boats by the age of 17, then subsequently worked as a professional boat builder before attending college. His 35-year professional career has included twelve years with propulsion and builders of advanced commercial and military craft. He has spent 23 years running his own firm, which has primarily focused on the design and engineering of motoryachts of all types.
